Cairn India is definitely a buy: Deven Choksey

ET Now: At 340-350 it was a resounding buy for that is Cairn India what is the call on the stock now?

Deven Choksey: The company is not fundamentally weak and the fundamentals are becoming stronger. One, Sri Lanka discovery is not happening and it does not mean that the volume growth of the Indian fields is not going to help the company. It is definitely going to work better for the company going forward with the production going up as far as the Mangala and Aishwarya fields concerned. So to a greater extent I would feel that Cairn Energy or Cairn India is definitely a buy opportunity at lower levels and can be added into the portfolio.
