Buy Sun TV to reap benefits later: Ashwani Gujral

What is your take on the election beneficiaries stocks like Sun TV and railways stocks?

Now that the DMK has lost the elections, it is not a bad idea to buy into Sun TV because independently it is a decent company and whenever the DMK comes back, you will reap benefits. Today you are getting this price because the DMK is out of power, so I would like to buy Sun TV.

Railway stocks may go 2-3% up or down but it would probably depend on who becomes the next Railway Minister. These are more seasonally oriented stocks, and they tend to start moving around September. This is not the time for railway stocks to move.

So, people can get in and buy Sun TV for the long term but none of the others.
