ET Now: What would you do with retail stocks?

Mr AK Prabhakar: When I was coming into the studio, I was seeing a newsflash that Prime Minister is talking to West Bengal Chief Minister. So the interest which Mr. Prime Minister is showing, retail stocks can be doing good and we have come with a contrarian buying on retail.

Everybody normally talks about Pantaloon but we have gone out of the box to give different stocks. CECS which has Spencer’s Retail as one of our top picks and Spencer’s retail is bleeding CECS and if they can get a foreign partner in that business, CESC will do very good. So many stocks like Raymond, Bombay Dyeing, real estate and textile plays we have selected stocks like that instead of going for Pantaloon which has a very high debt.
