Buy Maruti from a 1-1.5 year perspective: Phani Sekhar

"A lot of pain is in the price, so from now on if Maruti does not move, a lot should be attributed to weakness in sales."

Phani Sekhar, Fund Manager-PMS, Angel Broking in an interview with ET Now talks about Maruti.

One, a view on Hero MotoCorp and the second is on Maruti, is the pain in the price or is there more pain left?

A lot of pain is in the price, so from now on if Maruti does not move, a lot should be attributed to weakness in sales because the October sales were the lowest and I was actually surprised that other four wheeler majors, passenger car majors were also not able to do much, especially when Maruti was not producing.

From now on the weakness will be seasonal but this will be a good time to add Maruti from a 1-1.5 year perspective with a 50% upside target.
