Buy banking stocks as they can offer 5-10% upside: Deven Choksey

ET Now: What is your call on the banking sector?

Deven Choksey: We would like to latch on to the banking stocks ahead of other stocks more because the prospects of rate cut are coming in. Moreover, a kick is starting in some of the infrastructure projects. The pressure on the bottom line of the NPAs would probably get reduced in most of the banks particularly in the PSU banks.

Therefore, to a greater extent the banking story is moving faster from other stories. Buy into the banks as they could offer around 5-10% upside over next three months time from current levels.
