Bullish on PNB, Bank of Baroda: Hemang Jani, Sharekhan

In an interview with ET Now, Hemang Jani, Senior Vice President, Sharekhan, shares his outlook for banking stocks. Excerpt:

ET Now: How are you looking at PSU banks right now?

Hemang Jani: Clearly, PSU banks are a tricky spot to be in. We have not seen any great improvement in the numbers, particularly for the banks which have already announced the numbers. However, certain banks have seen the NPL numbers coming out to be a little better than the market expectations. We will go stock-specific here and we think that PNB, Bank of Baroda and to some extent SBI could provide good investment entry points at this level.
