Bullish on Goodyear Tyres and Kotak Mahindra: Jagdish Malkani

In an interview with ET Now, Jagdish Malkani, Member, NSE & BSE, shares his views on markets. Excerpts:

ET Now: Anything that you scan in the last few days that you would want to recommend?

Jagdish Malkani: There is MNC stock or Goodyear Tyres on the BSE, very good pedigree play. It is in tractor tyres so it suffered a little bit but still it is relative to in terms of corporate governance, etc, much low. If you see some of its peers which have done so well and with lower rubber prices, etc, this is the stock which could easily move.

A bit of dampener is new de-listing guidelines but in spite of that, it is a good story. Other stock which I like is Kotak deal. It has come off quite a bit from its recent highs, etc, price to book, other parameters if you see, of course there is a long way all this acquisition target, I would not go as far as that but it is on various parameters, lot of its cleaning up has happened.
