Bullish on GIC Housing Finance: Ambareesh Baliga

Ambareesh Baliga, VP, Karvy Stock Broking Ltd. in an interview with ET Now discusses GIC Housing Finance.

Would you look at the second rung of stocks probably Gruh Finance has run up a little bit but how about a GIC Housing Finance, you like any of these plays?

In fact we were just discussing about GIC Housing Finance this morning and we are still working on that. One of the triggers for that would be the sale of LIC Mutual Fund that should give them Rs9-Rs10 EPS but the only issue is it is much much smaller then whether you talk of Dewan or whether you talk of LIC Housing Finance. Its tiny you can say compared to them and that's the reason this will always quote at a discount to LIC or the other larger players but still I think looking at the way the sector is doing there is still some more upside from where it is right now.
