BHEL will take some time to come out of doldrums: Anand Tandon

In a chat with ET Now, Anand Tandon, CEO, JRG Securities shares his views on BHEL.

ET Now: What is your view principally on BHEL?

Anand Tandon: People like to jump the gun in terms of trying to look for a turnaround. It will take some time for BHEL to come out of the doldrums. We have had a massive expansion in terms of generating capacity. Anybody is going into a hurry to try and generate more.

The order book is not likely to get materialised very quickly. It will become what it was in the early parts of the 2000. It was an NBFC funding the clients to try and buy the equipment. This kind of receivable position will start increasing in BHEL and become obvious over the next couple of years.
