BHEL to be serious performer over next few quarters: Gajendra Nagpal

ET Now spoke to Gajendra Nagpal, CEO, Unicon Financial Solutions, for a fundamental check on BHEL.

Your views on BHEL?

I do believe that the way there has been a story going around about the power space and the power equipment manufactures. One good thing that I have observed about this company has been that they have been able to not only compete and get orders from PSU power generation companies but also from private sector where there is an intense international competition and there was definitely a looming fear that Chinese could upset the applecart.

But it seems like that the company has come back very strongly and won some of the major contracts against the Chinese strong competition.

That obviously makes one to believe that they have been able to manage their cost also fairly well and all these things put together with the kind of outlook that we have for the power sector, makes me to believe that BHEL is going to be a serious performer over next few quarters.
