Bharti best positioned stock; Avoid R Comm & Idea: Avinash Gorakshekar

What about telecom? Would you now take a look at Bharti, which has been seeing some conclusive move today?

From a medium-term call, telecom space, Bharti seems to be the best positioned stock. I would not like to put my bets on an R Comm or may be an Idea but definitely Bharti from a medium-term perspective, if you are looking at least in the next 2-3 quarters because may be in the immediate quarter, which is expected to come out, we are not expecting ARPUs to move up.

There would be continued pressure on margins but the longer term story for telecom seems to be quite good and with the 3G rollout expected to happen, our sense is that definitely from a medium-term perspective, the prospects for telecom market in India is quite promising and Bharti definitely will get a bigger share of it.
