Bharti Airtel good for long term, PNB steady stock

Deepak Mohoni, Director, trendwatchindia.com, in a chat with ET Now talks about Bharti Airtel and PNB.

ET Now: Bharti Airtel, what do you make of the charts there and Punjab National Bank also which his looking a bit strong this morning?

Deepak Mohoni: Bharti has been now at a one year high. So it is obviously in a long term uptrend. It cannot be otherwise and of late the moves have been fairly decent. It has given good trading opportunities as well. We had a time, about say 8-9 months back, when telecom was going down like Suzlon and RNRL sometime ago.

So that has very much changed for all the telecom stocks now. So they are in an uptrend and some of them even have a bit of momentum and Bharti and Idea probably are those 2 stocks which are keeping up with any of the other index stocks. PNB is slow but steady bank stock. It makes its new highs every now and then. Percent gains wise, momentum wise perhaps not keeping up with the State Bank but it is not too far behind either.
