Bearish on TCS: Prakash Diwan, Altamount Capital

In a chat with ET Now, Prakash Diwan, Director, Altamount Capital, shares his views on TVs.

ET Now: Would you be comfortable buying TVS?

Prakash Diwan: It is a little bit of a stretch valuation especially the worrisome part in the numbers was the volume growth that has started to struggle.

You could have a couple of good quarters because of the base effect also. There is a little bit of a fancy, you caught the other two large players fighting each other, napping at some stage.

Hero is getting out of the Honda marriage, Bajaj was trying to kind of rejig the whole thing at entry level bikes. So TVS had a good time in that respect and all the good work that they have done in the past has probably been brought in and be factored in. So I do not see much of miracles happening going forward
