Bearish on PSU banks, would prefer HDFC among private banks: Rajan Malik

ET Now: Anything that you would completely move out of?

Rajan Malik: Banking, everything in the oil and gas segment other than Reliance.



ET Now: You are saying you would empty your positions in banking?

Rajan Malik: Yes, I would. We could even take short positions.



ET Now: Both PSU and private? There has been a lot of interest in private sector banks?

Rajan Malik: We would look at further weakness in Axis and ICICI specifically. We would continue to be invested in something like an HDFC, although we believe there is downside there and the entire PSU pack looks weak.
