Bearish on IT except TCS: Radhika Gupta

Radhika Gupta, Director, Forefront Capital Management in an interview with ET Now talks about IT.

What is your view on IT?

We are fairly bearish on the IT segment. It has held up well for the last week or so because in the midst of all these scams, people look at IT as a place with good corporate governance, a flight to safety stock.

That is why IT is held up well but from a fundamental perspective, IT margins are going to come down and in the long term, the currency headwinds will hit IT companies.

So we will see that in the January round of corporate earnings. You are going to see some fresh run IT margins. So we are pretty bearish on most companies. TCS may be the only exception.
