Be selective on your picks from midcap IT space: Manish Gunwani, ICICI Prudential AMC

In a chat with ET Now, Manish Gunwani, Sr Fund Manager, ICICI Prudential Asset Management, shares his views on midcap IT space. Excerpt:

ET Now: What is your call on midcap IT space?

Manish Gunwani: We have been holding some midcap IT stocks which have worked very well for us and we continue to be selectively bullish on some of the midcap IT names.

But one need to be very careful in choosing the stocks because the entire sector has done very well. So our focus in IT is to place lot of emphasis in choosing the correct stocks among the midcap IT universe.
