Base metals must be sold: Atul Shah

When an economy is in a risky stage, there will be lesser demand for the base metals. So, overall base metals should remain range bound with a bias on sell side.

What would be your outlook on base metals, especially copper?

For the base metals, we should have an overall outlook of the economy. The yields are rising in Europe as well as in US, so when the yields are in, there is a more risk involved in that.

When an economy is in a risky stage, there will be lesser demand for the base metals. So, overall base metals should remain range bound with a bias on sell side. For copper, the range can be between 340-410.
