Banks coming out on the top end of the range: Ashwani Gujral

What is the call on entire banking pack?

Broadly PSU banks have been doing a bit of a range over the last few days while everybody was sounding bearish on them and now they are coming out on the top end of the range.

So, SBI could easily get up to 2050 type of levels for starters. DCB etc. on the other hand, can pop out on a high rate type environment on the smaller banks. So, I would be careful trying to get into stocks like DCB etc.

It has been in a downtrend like other banks but you want to play DCB type stocks once the market rosses and sustains 5400 rather than doing it in the first instance itself.
