Bank of Japan stimulus to benefit India: Taher Badshah
In a chat with ET Now, Taher Badshah, Motilal Oswal AMC, shares his views on Bank of Japan's monetary stimulus. Excerpts:

ET Now: The BoJ news bits are out there and they have retained the monetary expansion plan. They see inflation numbers not really rising too severely and expanded a couple of facilities as well. What do you make of this?

Taher Badshah: It is a continuation of some of the major fears which are surrounding some of these large developed markets, be it Europe or Japan. Disinflationary conditions are developing and growth is in a little sticky position. In fact all of the market participants are looking for liquidity support and these are the kind of countries which are going to provide liquidity support to the global markets. So that is a trend that we will probably continue to see. The good part is that it benefits India both from the point of view of continuing disinflationary trends in commodities as well as in terms of possible healthy flows into the market. So we can only read in positively in all this.
