Balance-sheet of Idea best in telecom sector: Harit Shah

In a chat with ET Now, Harit Shah, Senior Research Analyst, Nirmal Bang Institutional Securities, shares his views on Idea:

ET Now: How is Idea looking as a stock?

Harit Shah: Idea is one of our top picks in the sector. In fact we are essentially positive on the sector. Idea still offers a best growth in the sector along with the best balance sheet quality. Their net debt is less than Rs 10,000 crore and their net debt equity is just about 0.6 that is the lowest in the industry.

The upcoming QIP will also strengthen their balance sheet in order to further acquire spectrum over next few months or years.

Hence, these factors keep us positive on the stock and we have a buy rating right now.
