Avoid taking risks in pharma sector: Nitin Raheja

In a chat with ET Now, Nitin Raheja, Co-Founder, AQF Advisors, shares his views on the pharmaceuticals sector. Edited Excerpts:

ET Now: What did you make of the pharma news? Cipla won a large order yesterday. CLSA has initiated a coverage on Torrent Power and a target much higher than the CMP. Ipca Labs has problems of its own with most people believing that an import alert is definitely underway. What do you make of what is happening in the pharma space, particularly Cipla?

Nitin Raheja: This is good from Cipla’s perspective if it helps it to accelerate growth from where it has been struggling in the past. But we remain a little circumspect especially of valuations in a lot of the companies in the pharma space.
