Avoid sugar, agri input stocks: Sonam Udasi

ET Now spoke to Sonam Udasi, Head of Research, IDBI Capital, on his view on the sugar and agri-input stocks.

I am guessing you would not touch some of the liquid agri stocks, the likes of sugar or fertilizers right because all of these shaved off quite a bit.

Exactly. See on sugar anyway we were not very bullish from the start. On agri inputs, we continue to be fundamentally bullish but right now technically speaking the demand supply is too much not in their favour. So I would advise that people stay away from it. Let the market consolidate, we will get enough opportunities to load up on them.
