In a chat with ET Now, Rajan Malik, Head Equities, Private Client Group, Philip Capital PCG, shares his views about the auto space.

ET Now: What is your call on auto space?

Rajan Malik: Autos on a generic basis we do not think will do very well. They are coming of a very large base and there are problems in the domestic market.

In the two wheeler segment we do see Mahindra & Mahindra given what they are launching in the current performance is to outperform the others. Tata Motors are over dependent on the JLR numbers. In the two wheeler segment we see Honda coming and really denting Hero Honda and Bajaj Auto but Bajaj Auto is performing better than the others.
