Auto stocks will be robust in the long term: IV Subramanium

If I look at the demand conditions over the next three to five years both in two wheelers and in four wheelers space, it will be quite robust.

IV Subramanium, Chief Investment Officer, Quantum Advisors in a chat with ET Now, gives his views on auto stocks

ET Now: How are you reading into the auto space now and how would you treat them in the near term?

IV Subramanium: I would still be a little cautious as far as assuming the growth numbers for the next few months. On the margin we are still finding indications that in certain products and areas there could be some delay in purchases or people are having a rethink on buying.

That is the sense we get when we interact with dealers etc. So little cautious but then again we do tend to look over longer term horizons and if I look at the demand conditions over the next three to five years both in two wheelers and in four wheelers space we are quite comfortable assuming that it will be quite robust.
