Auto sector top bet in Samvat 2071: Prateek Agarwal

In a chat with ET Now, Prateek Agarwal, Business Head & CIO, ASK Investment Manager, shares his views on sector ideas. Excerpts:

ET Now: This Samvat to the next Samvat if you had to back on one sector, which one would it be?

Prateek Agarwal: I would really believe autos would do well. There is a lot of pent-up demand. So this year, we should see auto numbers being good. At the same time with lower commodity prices, the uptick in the margins could be seen. So the combination of two should result in good result in good uptick in profits and the valuations in this space are just about right. So I would really believe that this is one space that would do well over the next one year if you ask me one space.
