Arun Jaitley can pull economy out of low trajectory investment led growth: Jitendra Sriram

In a chat with ET Now, Jitendra Sriram, Director & Head of Research, HSBC Securities, shares his views on Finance Minister.
ET Now: What do you make of the choice of Arun Jaitley as the finance minister ?

Jitendra Sriram: He is very capable person and at the same time, he has had good interactions with all the stakeholders for this important ministry. He understands the perspective of what the electorate wants, what the corporate sector wants, what is required to turn around investments. I am sure that putting all this together is probably the key to now hoping that we come out of this low trajectory investment led growth that we have been caught in. So we probably need to up that rate now much more strongly than what it has been so far.
