Car sales increased by 21.1 per cent y-o-y; of these, Nano sales were 3,018 units. Indigo’s domestic sales grew sic per cent y-o-y due to the launch of the new Manza (reversing a trend of declining volumes for the past seven months); domestic Indica sales grew two per cent.

Light commercial vehicles sustained the good volume momentum, with 45.5 per cent growth despite exports slipping 31 per cent y-o-y. We expect volume growth of 17.1 per cent in FY10, fuelled mainly by the Nano and the CV segment.
