Allahabad Bank would be my top pick: Seshadri Bharathan

Keeping it with banks, a whole host of these midcap banks getting very active in the session now. Which is your top pick from that space because consolidation is the word we have been talking about and we know valuations are pretty much within the tight band?

I think among all these Allahabad Bank would be my top pick because there is lot of tailwind for this bank: a) there is a turnaround story, b) we are seeing that government is pumping in additional capital for most of these PSU small banks and c) we might see some kind of merger activity happening in these banks smaller banks with larger banks so sense is that Allahabad Bank is one bank that I prefer in the small or midcap PSU space.
