Akzo Nobel has good opportunity in every decline: Avinnash Gorakssakar

"Akzo Nobel looks pretty good. In fact, the quarter four numbers were also pretty strong and the company has also announced a buy back at around 920 odd levels."

In a chat with ET Now, Avinnash Gorakssakar, Founder & Director, Moneyinvestment.in, shares his views on Akzo Nobel.

ET Now: Do you like any of the paint companies?

Avinnash Gorakssakar: Clearly Akzo Nobel looks pretty good. In fact, the quarter four numbers were also pretty strong and the company has also announced a buy back at around 920 odd levels. So it is an MNC play, gives good dividend.

So, on every decline this could be a good opportunity because 920 means that there is a decent arbitrage for the buyback also. Clearly in terms of MNC, they have been making a good in-road in the residential kind of paint market. So, from a medium term perspective Akzo Nobel looks pretty good.
