Agro processing growth not weak: Jain Irrigation

ET Now talks to Anil Jain, Managing Director, Jain Irrigation on agro processing segment.

Your agro processing segment is well looking a little bit weak as far as FY10 is concerned but analysts do believe that FY11 will show tremendous growth. Do you think that is possible? Could the company deliver and can you share some of your growth expectations and plans in this segment?

Even in agro processing segment, this business cannot be looked at quarterly basis but on an annualised basis, we should be growing somewhere close to 23-24%. So I would not call it that it is a weak growth and even going forward next year, as long as thinks like mangos are available because it is a seasonal product, we should maintain this growth rate from 20% to 30% into that product line.
