Agro commodities hold promise: Anand Tandon

At a time when there is gloom and doom in the markets, will you identify safe sectors which have potential to outperform.

The markets move very quickly. So I would have said the commodities a while back but they are also looking stretched right now. That said on a slightly longer term basis, so long as we continue to have money getting printed, anything that cannot be printed will obviously continue to attract money. So barring a possible correction in near term, I would still think that most commodities especially agro commodities and most primary materials would be something that I would still think can give you relative value.
