8,160-8,250 on Nifty could be a good region to sell into markets: Ashwani Gujral

In a chat with ET Now, Ashwani Gujral, Fund Manager, Ashwanigujral.com, shares his view on how the market may perform in the week ahead.

ET Now: It was not the best of the weeks for domestic equities. Nifty was quite near the 8,100 mark. What do you think is in store next week?

Ashwani Gujral: We had seen a fairly large move. Whenever you see such a momentum, you must brace for a bit of choppiness in the subsequent period. We see could see choppiness, but at higher levels of around 8,160 -8,250 on Nifty. If we get into the said zone, that would be a good place to sell into the market.

That said, given that Bank Nifty was down 6.5 per cent this week, we may not see that sort of a decline. There could be a fall, but not that harsh. You will see back-and-forth type of action unless we deal with something new globally. It will be a weak market.
