Indian stock markets saw a sharp decline on Monday, with the BSE Sensex dropping over 1,000 points and the Nifty50 falling below 23,100. This downturn followed a surprisingly strong U.S. jobs report, which reduced expectations of imminent interest rate cuts by the Federal Reserve, and was further impacted by worries about declining corporate earnings.The 30-share BSE Sensex concluded trading at 76,330, reflecting a decrease of 1,048 points or 1.38%.
