Zensar moves higher on acquisition reports

Shares of Zensar Technologies moved higher after the company announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire a US-based company and its subsidiary.

MUMBAI: Shares of Zensar Technologies moved higher after the company announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire a US-based company and its subsidiary.

The company's wholly owned subsidiary, Zensar Technologies Inc, has entered into definitive agreements to acquire PSI Holdings Group Inc. a limited liability company and its wholly owned subsidiaries Akibia, Inc, Aquila Technology Corp and Akibia B.

The company has not disclosed the financial details of the acquisition.

At 1;13 pm, the scrip was at Rs 161, up Rs 3.05 or 1.93 per cent. It touched a high of Rs 164.50 and low of Rs 159 in trade so far. Around 17,000 shares were traded in the counter.
