Zen Technologies said the majority of its executable order book is expected to translate into revenue from Q2FY27 onwards, while maintaining that delivery schedules remain on track.

Shares of Zen Technologies declined 6.43% to Rs 1,655 in Monday’s trading session after the company reported a year-on-year decline in revenue and profitability for the first quarter of FY27. The market reaction came despite the company highlighting a strong order pipeline and improved execution visibility for the coming quarters.

Zen Technologies posted a 27.8% decline in consolidated net profit at Rs 34 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, compared with Rs 47 crore in the same period last year. Revenue from operations also fell 10.5% year-on-year to Rs 141.6 crore from Rs 158.2 crore in the corresponding quarter.

Management highlights strong order book and revenue visibility
In its regulatory filing, Zen Technologies said Q1FY27 revenue was in line with expectations and reflected the early phase of execution from its existing order book. The company expects revenue momentum to improve from Q2FY27 and Q3FY27 as a larger portion of current orders move into the execution phase.

The company entered FY27 with a strong order pipeline, with most orders secured from October 2025 onwards. Zen Technologies stated that these orders typically have an execution cycle of around 12 months, providing visibility for revenue conversion over the next few quarters.

The company closed Q1FY27 with a consolidated order book of Rs 1,239.02 crore as of June 30, 2026. It further strengthened its pipeline with an additional simulator order worth Rs 177.50 crore received in July 2026 for the upgrade and integration of Tank and Crew Gunnery Simulators.

Zen Technologies said the majority of its executable order book is expected to translate into revenue from Q2FY27 onwards, while maintaining that delivery schedules remain on track.
