Wipro rallies over 3% on Rs 2,400 cr order win from Takeda Pharma
Wipro rallied 3%, after it won an over Rs 2,400 cr deal from Takeda Pharma under which the former will support IT requirements of the pharma company.

The multi-year deal, described as a "strategic partnership" to provide IT infrastructure to the pharma firm, will add to Wipro's revenues immediately, said a senior executive.
"We are thrilled to partner with Takeda and it has many firsts for the company," said Sangita Singh, chief executive of the Healthcare and Life Science Business Unit at Wipro.
At 09:25 a.m.; the stock was at Rs 490.40, up 1.85 per cent, on the BSE. It touched a high of Rs 494 and a low of Rs 485.55 in trade today.
