Will my bank be open tomorrow? Bank holidays in October

NEW DELHI: The month of October is full of holidays as festivals of Durga Puja and Vijaya Dashmi will be celebrated during the month. Besides, Prophet Mohammad’s birthday and Gandhi Jayanti will also be celebrated across India.

Banks in some states will also be closed to observe some regional holidays. Moreover, various states have variation when they celebrate Durga Puja and Vijaya Dashmi. Assam will celebrate Kati Bihu, Gujarat Vallabh Bhai’s birthday and Karnaka and Odisha will observe Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti, among others.
