Welspun Gujarat up 1.3% on Q2 net profit

MUMBAI: Welspun-Gujarat Stahl Rohren’s net profit surged a whopping 146 per cent to Rs 82.5 crore for the quarter ended September 30 compared with Rs 33.5 crore in the same quarter previous year.

The company’s total income increased to Rs 929.8 crore for the July-September period from Rs 674.9 crore year ago.

At 12:37 pm, the share was up 1.33 per cent at Rs 339.65 with volume traded at 10,24,585 against two-week average of 24,80,743 shares.
