Vineet Nayar sells 10 lakh shares of HCL Tech for Rs 31.40 cr

MUMBAI: Vineet Nayar, Chief Executive Officer and whole-time directors of HCL Technologies, has sold 10 lakh equity shares of his IT firm for Rs 31.40 crore in the open market.
Nayar sold 10 lakh equity shares on the BSE through India Infoline, HCL Technologies said in a filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The 10 lakh equity shares were sold by Nayar from the stake held by him, it said.
After the latest transaction Nayar's stake stood reduced to 0.15 per cent of the total stake of the IT firm, it said.
Nayar sold the shares in open market transaction on September 15, it said.
Shares of HCL Technologies closed at Rs 314, up 0.51 per cent from the previous close on the BSE.
Nayar sold 10 lakh equity shares on the BSE through India Infoline, HCL Technologies said in a filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The 10 lakh equity shares were sold by Nayar from the stake held by him, it said.
