MUMBAI: Venus Remedies has received UK MHRA approval for drug Gemcitabine, one of the key products for treatment of cancer. Gemcitabine is a $1.5 billion drug worldwide with more than 30% market share from Europe.
The stock was at Rs 226.10, up 4.05 per cent on the NSE. It touched a high of Rs 231.50 and low of Rs 219 in trade so far. Around 15,270 shares were traded in the counter.
