Venus Remedies' Baddi unit gets Syria approval
Venus Remedies' manufacturing unit at Baddi has received approval from General Foreign Trade Organization of Syria to manufacture and export products in Syria.
Syria holds significant share in Middle Eastern pharmaceutical market, which is valued at $12 billion by 2010.
Venus Remedies has filed 20 dossiers in Cephalosporin, Oncology and Carbapenem products, including for two research products, for registration in Syria. The company will be exporting to Syria through its German subsidiary, Venus Pharma GmbH.
On Friday, Venus Remedies shares closed down 3.92 per cent at Rs 385 on BSE.
