Vedanta dividend payout now at Rs 16,800 crore so far in FY25
The Anil Agarwal-led conglomerate declared an interim dividend of Rs 11 per share in May, followed by Rs 4 per share in August, Rs 20 per share in September, and the latest Rs 8.5 per share on Monday, December 16.

It includes four interim dividends that the company has announced in this fiscal year, cementing its position as one of the highest dividend-paying companies in India.
The Anil Agarwal-led conglomerate had announced an interim dividend of Rs 11 per share in May, followed by its second interim dividend of Rs 4 per share in August, Rs 20 per share in September and the latest interim dividend of Rs 8.5 per share on Monday (December 16).
Here is a detailed breakdown of the company’s Rs 16,800 crore dividends in FY25 so far:
Fourth interim dividend- Rs 8.5 per share
Vedanta declared its fourth interim dividend of Rs 8.5 per share, amounting to Rs 3,324 crore. The ex-date has been set as December 24, 2024.Third interim dividend- Rs 20 per share
The company approved its third interim dividend of Rs 20 per share, translating to a total payout of Rs 7,821 crore, with an ex-date of September 10, 2024.
Second interim dividend- Rs 20 per share
Vedanta announced its second interim dividend of Rs 4 per share, totalling Rs 1,564 crore, the ex-date for this being August 2, 2024.First interim dividend- Rs 20 per share

Over the last 12 months, Vedanta has paid a total dividend of Rs 46 per share, delivering an yield of 9.08% at the share price of Rs 506.85, according to the Trendlyne data.
