Vakrangee, Vivimed Labs among top gainers on BSE
Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 36 shares were trading in the green, while 14 were in the red.

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 157.96 points up at 37,133.19 on Thursday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Shares of Zodiac JRD MKJ (up 18.43 per cent), Hisar Metal Industries (up 17.19 per cent), Bharat Road Network (up 16.47 per cent), Gujarat Hy-Spin (up 16.35 per cent), TVS Electronics (up 13.18 per cent), CMI FPE (up 12.96 per cent), Medi-Caps (up 12.62 per cent), Vivimed Labs (up 12.07 per cent), Transcorp International (up 12.04 per cent) and Rama Pulp Paper (up 11.50 per cent) were among the top performers.
Godawari Power (up 7.13 per cent) and Vakrangee( up 5.64 per cent) too were trading 5-7 per cent higher at around the same time.
The Nifty 50 index was trading 36.95 points up at 11,099.40.
