VA Tech Wabag JV bags Rs 170 cr order

MUMBAI: VA Tech Wabag and Nagarjuna Construction Company International joint venture has bagged Rs 170 crores order from Oman based Company-Majis Industrial Services.

WABAG is scheduled to commence construction of Sea water desalination plant on the basis of RO technology for Sohar Industrial Area, Oman from January 2011 and the scheduled completion is around 20 months.

The scrip was at Rs 1488.50, down 0.62 per cent on the BSE. It touched a high of Rs 1534 and low of Rs 1475.15 in trade so far on volume of 4324 shares.
