Uttam Value, RCF, Lanco Infra drop over 5%

NEW DELHI: Shares of Arcotech Limited, 3i Infotech, Uttam Value Steel, Gokul Refoils, Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilisers and Lanco Infratech cracked over 5 per cent on BSE in Thursday's trade in an otherwise upbeat market.

However, market sentiment was looking firm on Thursday after an overnight rally on the Wall Street.

Benchmark Nifty50 index was 31 points up at 9,522, while the 30-share Sensex was 110 points up at 30,944 around 1.50 pm (IST).

In the Nifty 50 index, 35 stocks were trading in green, including Axis Bank, Tata Steel, Hindalco, Bharti Airtel and Indiabulls Housing Finance.

However, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Sun Pharma, Tata Power, Tech Mahindra and IOC were among 16 stocks trading in red.

Shares of Venky’s (India), Ujaas Energy, Transport Corp, PG Electroplast and Intrasoft Tech surged over 10 per cent in trade so far.
