United Spirits promoters pledge 33% stake; stock up 2.5%

MUMBAI: Liquor manufacturer United Spirits said its promoters have pledged over 3.28 crore shares or 32.82 per cent stake in the company for an undisclosed amount.

The promoter group comprises Vijay Mallya, United Breweries (Holdings), Kingfisher Finvest India, Mallya Private, Devi Investments, Vittal Investments and Rossi & Associates, the statement to the exchanges said.

At noon, the company���s shares were up 2.48 per cent at Rs 594 on the BSE.
