Unitech promoters pledge about 1.7 cr shares
Realty firm Unitech today said its promoters have pledged a further about 1.7 crore shares, or 1.34 per cent of their shareholding, with lenders.

NEW DELHI: Realty firm Unitech today said its promoters have pledged a further about 1.7 crore shares, or 1.34 per cent of their shareholding, with lenders.
In a filing to the BSE, Unitech informed that promoters companies Harsil Projects and Mayfair Capital Pvt Ltd have pledged 1.3 crore shares and 42.5 lakh shares, respectively since June 22.
Promoters have 48.35 per cent stake in Unitech as on June 30, 2013, of which 81.11 per cent were pledged.
Post-pledging, Harsil Projects stake excluding encumbered shares is 3.72 per cent. It had 8.7 per cent stake in Unitech as on June 30.
Mayfair Capital stake in Unitech had 25.51 per cent as on June 30. Its stake excluding pledged shares has come down to 0.32 per cent.
Unitech's share price today closed at Rs 16.45 on BSE, down 0.30 per cent.
