Umang Dairies, Visa Steel, Dharani Sugars surge up to 20%

NEW DELHI: Domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, were trading in green on Monday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of Archidply Ind ( 10.20 per cent) , Kamat Hotels ( 10.52 per cent) , Umang Dairies ( 10.65 per cent) , Visa Steel Ltd ( 11.33 per cent) , Tarmat Ltd ( 12.29 per cent) , Dharani Sugars ( 16.42 per cent) , Goldstone Tech ( 19.63 per cent) and Marksans Pharma ( 19.75 per cent) rallied up to 20 per cent intraday on Monday.

The 30-share BSE Sensex was up 97.23 points at 28565.98 on Monday around the same time, while the 50-share Nifty index was up 28.5 points at 8850.2.

In the Nifty 50 index, 34 stocks were trading in green, while 16 stocks were trading in red.

Stocks such as Tarmat Ltd, Kamat Hotels, JSPL, Goldstone Infra, PPAP Auto, Merck Ltd, Greaves Cotton, Dilip Buildcon Ltd., SAL Steel Ltd, Times Guaranty hit their fresh 52-week high in today's trade.

However, MT Educare, BS Ltd, Pennar Engineered Building Systems Ltd., DB International, KSS Ltd, Birla Cotsyn, Gangotri Text, Raj Rayon, Pricol Ltd., Rasoya Proteins touched their new 52-week low in trade.
