Uflex jumps 5% after healthy Q4 results
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 78.16 crore during the January-March quarter a year ago.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Uflex jumped over 5 per cent on Wednesday after the packaging company said its consolidated net profit rose 25.62 per cent to Rs 98.19 crore for the March quarter.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 78.16 crore during the January-March quarter a year ago, Uflex said in a BSE filing.
The company said its total income for the quarter rose 11 per cent to Rs 1,709.77 crore, compared with Rs 1,540.33 crore in the corresponding quarter of last year.
Following the numbers, the stock rose 5.45 per cent to hit a high of Rs 354, eventually closing at Rs 342.35, up 1.98 per cent. The stock has been a multibagger for investors as it has risen 240 per cent in last three years. The scrip has risen 84 per cent in last one year.
Uflex told exchanges that its expenses for the March quarter rose 10.83 per cent to Rs 1,575.54 crore, compared with Rs 1,421.51 crore in the year-ago quarter.
