Twitterati abuzz: ‘Mom-in-law’ NRN shows old 'sikkas' don’t work at Infy
Twittereti had their share of fun and serious thinking over the promoter-management tussle at India’s IT bellwether Infosys, that led to Vishal Sikka’s resignation as the company’s CEO and MD.

“Post demonetisation, old 'sikkas' not working. 'Vishal' change in #Infosys. Old guard wins,” Harsh Goenka, Chairman of RPG Enterprises, tweeted.
Earlier, reacting to the news, Goenka had said Vishal Sikka is a world-class global leader, but unfortunately, he could not align well with earlier promoters and founders.

Mumbai-based economist and political analyst Ajit Ranade also played on ‘sikka’, asking to “introduce a new coin. and then demonetize it.”

Journalist Girish Kuber compared Infosys co-founder NR Narayana Murthy to a mother in-law. “VishalSikka resigns. So sorry for #Infosys. #NarayanMurthy should take the blame. Too much meddling like bad mother-in-law. Unprofessional,” he tweeted.

Cricket commentator and journalist Harsha Bhogle was shocked at the crisis in a company he always thought stood for highest standards. “Wow, so #Infosys, a company I have always believed stood for what India could achieve, stumbles onto another crisis.”
